What is teeth whitening?

Teeth whitening is a safe & painless treatment option to improve the colour of your teeth and brighten your smile. You are in complete control and can stop once you achieve a shade you are happy with. It also helps remove deep staining by penetrating the enamel and breaking up the stain.

Whitening with SDI

We use the Pola range which contains Fluoride, which helps strengthen teeth and reduce sensitivity. It also contains a higher water content to prevent dehydration of teeth and help reduce sensitivity. Speak with your dentist about which Pola product is best suited for your needs.

Who is it available for?

- Teeth whitening is available to anyone 18+ years old.

- Unfortunately it is not recommended for anyone with gum disease or any other dental disease. However this may be a good motivator to improve your overall oral health.

- Some stains may require other forms of treatment such as veneers. Your dentist will discuss options with you.

The whitening range

- PolaRapid: in-chair whitening in 45 minutes combined with home whitening for long-term results

- PolaDay: home whitening so you can perform your treatment in your own time during the day

- PolaNight: home whitening so you can perform your treatment whilst you sleep

- PolaLight: affordable home whitening in two 15 minute sessions per day. Comes with a fully rechargeable light for future sessions

- PolaLuminate: brush on whitening ideal for touch up procedures

How can I maintain a whiter smile?

To help prolong the effects of your teeth whitening treatment, it’s important to maintain good oral hygiene habits and avoid foods and beverages that can stain your teeth. Additionally, periodic touch-up treatments can help keep your smile looking bright.
